Anzac Day Dawn Service At Gallipoli

Anzac day dawn service at Gallipoli departs from Istanbul on 24 April. We directly drive to Anzac cove via Eceabat and stay under the stars at the night in Anzac Cove in Gallipoli Peninsula as the ANZAC’s did on April 1915. After Dawn service ceremonies we will transfer you back to Istanbul or transfer through to Selcuk or Kusadasi (Ephesus).

24 April – Depart From Istanbul To Gallipoli Peninsula
Meal: No Meal
10:30 – 10:45 am – Meet with other Anzac Day Tour participants and our staff infront of Hagia Sophia Museum in Sultanahmet.
(Please note that the meeting time can be changed due to the government announcement about entry time to Anzac Cove where the ceremonies start.)
11:00 am – Depart from Istanbul for Eceabat.

We will drive from Istanbul to Gallipoli Peninsula by comfortable luxury buses. Stop half of the way for lunch and refreshments.
16:30 – 17:00 pm – Arrive in Eceabat then we drive up to Anzac Cove in Gallipoli peninsula.
We will try to get there as soon as possible to get a good position for the ceremonies. When the gate open we will get into service area and get good position and we will spend a night in the Anzac Ceremonies Area.

25 April – Dawn Service & Drive Back To Istanbul
Meal: Lunch Box
05:30 am – Dawn Service will start in Anzac Cove
After the Dawn Service Ceremony at the Anzac Cove, we will walk to Lone Pine for the Australian Ceremony. There won’t be any buses in the ceremony area. That’s why we need to walk all the ceremonies area.

10:30 am – Australian National Ceremony at Lone Pine
After Australian National Ceremony walk on the main road to Cunuk Bair for New Zealander National Ceremony.While we are walking we will see the Johnston’s Jolly where are remains of Turkish and Anzac trenches, Steele’s and Courntney’s Post cemetery, Quinns Post Cemetery & 57th Regiment Turkish Memorial.

11:45 am – New Zealander National Ceremony at Cunuk Bair
After joining all the ceremonies, our buses will collect you from the road where you finish the last ceremony.

Afterwards, drive back to Istanbul and you will be dropped off infornt of Hagia Sophia Museum in Sultanahmet Old City.
