20 April – Arrive In Istanbul
Meal: No Meal
Upon arrival to Istanbul Ataturk Airport, you will meet with our staff at the airport and transfer to hotel.
(If you arrive in other SAW Airport please inform us.)
Check into hotel and rest of the day will be yours in the city. Overnight in Istanbul.
21 April – Guide Istanbul Old City Tour
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
08:30 am – You will be picked up from your hotel and Fully Guided Old City Tour. Visiting: Sultanahmet Mosque also, it is known as Blue Mosque because of the blue tiles decorating the walls of its interior. Hippodrome was the sporting and social center of Constantinople, Hagia Sophia Museum, was a former Greek Orthodox patriarchal basilica and it is a museum now. Topkapi Palace was the primary residence of the Ottoman sultans for approx. 400 years. Grand Covered Bazaar is one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the World.
At the end of the tour, return back to your hotel around 17:00 pm and overnight in Istanbul.
22 April – Bosphorus Cruise & Two Continents Tour
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
08:30 am – You will be picked up from your hotel and Fully Guided Bosphorus Cruise Sightseeing Tour. Visiting: Spice Bazaar is the second largest covered bazaar after the Grand Covered Bazaar. Enjoy with an amazing Cruise on the Bosphorus between the two continents, Europe and Asia. You will be able to see two continents from the sea old palaces and Pasha Villas.
At the end of the tour, return back to the hotel around 12:45 pm. Rest of the day and overnight in Istanbul.
23 April – Istanbul & Gallipoli Tour
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
06:30 am You will be picked up from your hotel and drive to Gallipoli. Stop on the way for light breakfast.
12:00 Upon arrival to Eceabat, we will have lunch in local restaurant.
13:00 Drive to Gallipoli Peninsula. Today we will visit Gallipoli Peninsula. Visiting: Beach Cemetery (John Simpson’s Grave), ANZAC Cove, First ANZAC landing place (Ari Burnu), Johnston’s Jolly (Walk in the ANZAC trenches), Chunuk Bair (Main New Zealand memorial), Lone Pine Cemetery (Australian memorial), View Shrapnel Valley, Turkish Memorial, The Nek & Walker’s Ridge.
17:30 Tour ends and we drive back to Eceabat. Check into hotel. Overnight in Eceabat / Canakkale.
24 April – Guided Troy Tour & Drive To Anzac Day Ceremonies Area
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
08:30 am – After having breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Troy. We will visit The Trojan Horse which was used in the movie of Troy, A replica of the wooden horse, remains of the Troy 1 to Troy 6, The Temple of Athena, Megaron House, The ramp of Troy II, Sanctuary (Sacrificing Altars), Roman Bath, Odeon (Music theatre), Bouleuterion, Ruins of agora (Marketplace). At the end of the tour drive to a local restaurant.
12:00 We will have lunch at a local restaurant.
Free Time until driving to Anzac Cove.
Depart from Eceabat then we drive up to Anzac Cove.
We will try to get there as soon as possible to get a good position for the ceremonies. When the gate opens we will get into the service area and get good position and we will spend a night in the Anzac Ceremonies Area.
25 April – Anzac Day Dawn Service – Istanbul
Meal: Breakfast box, Lunch
05:30 Dawn Service will start in Anzac Cove
After you attend Dawn Service Ceremony at the Anzac Cove, we will walk up to the Lone Pine for Australian Ceremony. There won’t be any buses in the ceremony area. That’s why we need to walk all ceremonies area.
10:30 Australian National Ceremony at Lone Pine
After Australian, National Ceremony walks on the main road to Cunuk Bair for New Zealander National Ceremony. While we are walking we will see the Johnston’s Jolly where are remains of Turkish and Anzac trenches, Steele’s and Courtney’s Post cemetery, Quinns Post Cemetery & 57th Regiment Turkish Memorial.
11:30 New Zealander National Ceremony at Cunuk Bair
After joining all ceremonies, our buses will collect you from the road. Where you finish the last ceremony.
Afterward, drive back to Istanbul and you will be dropped off in front of Hagia Sophia Museum in Sultanahmet Old City.
Check into Hotel and overnight in Istanbul.
** Please note that you may continue to Selcuk or Kusadasi instead of return back to Istanbul and you can use your hotel in Selcuk or in Kusadasi instead of the hotel in Istanbul tonight.
26 April – Transfer to Airport for your flight
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast and Check out from the hotel at 11:45 am. Free time. We will pick you up from the hotel and transfer to the airport according to your flight departure time.
