Cappadocia Green Tour

You will be picked up from the hotel and explore the Amazing Ihlara Valley and Derinkuyu Underground City with this day tour. You will hike about 4 km in Ihlara valley and visit the amazing Derinkuyu Underground City. Our local tour guide will be with your all during the tour. At the end of the program, return back to your hotel.

09:30 am – Pick up right from Cappadocia hotels for Fully guided tour of amazing Ihlara Valley & Derinkuyu Underground City in Cappadocia.
(Pick up time depends on the location of your hotel in Cappadocia.)
You will meet with your local tourist and tour guide and other members of the tour then start to tour by visiting Derinkuyu Underground City to explore the huge refugee settlement carved by early Christians, where they could hide from persecutors. Derinkuyu Underground City is the largest one in the area with its 7 levels and 65 meters depth. The air-condition chimneys and defence systems used in these caves will surprise you during your visit the underground city. After visiting Derinkuyu Underground City, continue to the beautiful Ihlara Valley, which was formed after the volcanic erosions, wind and eroded by rain. This canyon was settled by Christians for 500 years between 5th and 10th century. Also, explore the famous rock-cut churches and hike 4 km through the valley. We will have a lunch at a local restaurant in Belisirma Village. On the way back visit the Monastery in Selime Village, carved out of the rock by Christian monks in the 13th century. The size of the church makes a visit here astonishing and mystic. The last stop of the day is a picture stop over the amazing Pigeon Valley.

17:00 pm – After the pigeon valley, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Cappadocia. It will be end of the Cappadocia green tour.
